Alison Sankey is an experienced Registered Psychologist, who utilises a warm, strengths-based and collaborative approach to helping clients achieve their goals. With a wealth of experience in not-for-profit sectors working with those that experience a variety of mental health diagnoses, Alison is approachable and difficult to shock.
Alison uses a holistic approach to well-being, and strongly believes in working with clients to identify and utilise their strengths in combination with psycho-education and evidence-based strategies from a variety of therapeutic models to overcome their current presenting concerns. Alison is passionate about helping her clients not only build their own capacity to cope and manage their emotions/diagnoses, but to also increase their relational and communication skills.
Alison works with children, adolescents, and adults that present with a wide range of psychological issues including but not limited to:
grief and loss,
emotion regulation issues,
self-esteem and issues with confidence,
Alison sees clients by appointment on Mondays (late night) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Alison sees clients by appointment via telehealth and (at her discretion during the pandemic), face to face as an essential service at the Practice in Baulkham Hills, NSW.
Alison has completed the Australian Governments Covid-19 infection control training and employs strict hygiene and physical distancing measures for face-to-face work.
Local clients are welcome to book a telehealth appointment during Covid-19 physical distancing, or to arrange a face-to-face appointment if this is clinically indicated and you are symptom free. Your safety is our priority.
