One-Day In-Person Workshop

This engaging, practical, tip-filled workshop is one of our most popular programs – designed specifically for parents and carers of children aged 12 and under who experience anxiety. We keep the group size small so you can get personalised support and leave feeling truly confident in your next steps.

The content is designed to be inclusive and helpful for all children, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis of an anxiety disorder, neurodiversity or other condition. It is stand alone content – and an accessible, affordable way for parents to feel supported if their child is working with a psychologist.

Help Your Anxious Child aged 2-12 years – parent course

A 6-week online course for Parents and Carers.

Written and presented by Dr Amanda Mullin, Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Founder, Mindworx Psychology & Think Differently.

Are you ready for change?

I chose to start teaching online after running a series of parent only workshops. I was inspired by the feedback from those parents – about how the parent strategies they learned in our group workshop had led them to quickly and easily make incredibly positive and powerful changes at home.

I know from my work as a Clinical Psychologist that even in our face-to-face treatment rooms, the parents or carers of anxious children are not always able to take in all the information we provide. There can be a lot going on, attention can be divided between the therapist and the child, and often parents are tired.

The online course began as an adjunct to our face to face treatments. It was an opportunity for parents to take the time they need to absorb important information. And then we started to have some beautiful feedback trickle in. We discovered that some of the parents working through the course were having incredible outcomes – even though they were not seeing a Psychologist.

Suddenly these workshops and the online course were not just a “nice to have”, or something to compliment treatment. Instead, they have became something that on it’s own may make a significant difference. I sincerely hope that you will find this course useful, easy to apply and with simple steps to follow that will make a difference. I know you are ready for change, and I am ready to help.
