Ziting’s empathetic, genuine, and caring nature fosters strong therapeutic relationships with his clients. He believes in the transformative power of storytelling and active listening, which helps him fully understand and address his clients’ unique concerns. His background as a published researcher, and commitment to evidence-based practice help inform his flexible, individualised treatment plans, which he tailors and adapts for each client.
Ziting is an experienced Registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dickinson College (U.S.), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from The University of Queensland, and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University. As a Clinical Psychology Registrar, he is also completing advanced specialist training towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
Originally from Beijing, China, before moving to Australia, Ziting brings a unique and multicultural perspective to his work and is able to support clients in both English and Mandarin. His background helps him connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and communicate psychological concepts in a clear, relatable way.
Outside of work Ziting has a strong interest in cooking and enjoying good food. He also enjoy sports such as basketball and frisbee. In his spare time, Ziting likes gaming, including both video games and board games, and spending time training and interacting with his Maine Coon cat.
